Liars and Thieves: two words normally used by women to describe their ex-boyfriends, ex-husbands and the like. Not two words normally thought of in context with music.
Liars and Thieves are a unique sounding local rock band with fast lyrics crooned over fast guitars and even faster energetic drums.

Flower in the Dale and I
stopped in at Riley’s to hear
Liars and Thieves. I had heard them play once before. And once again I was amazed by their energy, their lyrics, and their fast rock drive. Flower and I both stood transfixed in the music and in awe of one of the most energetic drummers with more genuine showmanship than I've seen before.
“It’s just a sin for a man to be that pretty.” I said to Flower pointing to Nick/Tyler Liars and Thieves’ drummer as she nodded her agreement.
“And to have arms that cut.” Flower said as we watched Nick/Tyler beat his drums in rapid tempos.
“He’s definitely a rock star!” I exclaimed.
Flower and I watched and listened enjoying the music and the show as we wondered if Nick/Tyler drummer extraordinaire would be shirtless by the end of the set. For after each song he pulled yet another layer off; beginning with a jacket, then a vintage-looking button up shirt, followed by a tight fitting t-shirt. He was definitely a rock star…
