Matildakay’s Punk Shui Couch Friends
For Christmas this year I bought a Jenraven Fraggle Sock Monkey for myself. I saw it at the Empty Space and just had to have it! I knew it would fit in perfectly with my other Punk Shui couch friends.

It wasn’t until NL’s review of Punk Shui Home Design for Anarchists by Josh Amatore that I realized my couch friends could be considered cool home décor instead of just stuffed animals with sentimental value sitting on the back of my couch.

So in the spirit of embracing Punk Shuiness I give you Matildakay’s Punk Shui Couch Friends:

From left to right:

Jenraven's Fraggle Sock Monkey: It’s pink. It has purple boa hair, wristlets and tail. It couldn't be any cuter! And a woman I admire made it.

Mr. Incredible: A bigger version of my car’s talisman Mr. Incredible that I bought at Disney on Ice a couple months ago. Why? Because every single woman needs a Mr. Incredible in her life.

Starshine: A Christmas stocking surprise from a couple Christmas’ ago. The star points make noises when you squeeze them and its name comes from it’s smiling face: Starshine.

Pokie Pooch: A Kern County Fair carnival game prize won by a dear friend who I admire. Why Pokie Pooch? Just look at his face!

AWWWWWW! Everyone needs a Pokie Pooch!!

I love your Punk-Shui take on the stuffies. I put out my Snoopy Stuffies on the sofa every Christmas ... one is an oversized Macy's Christmas Snoopy with a knit cap and scarf. The other is a Classic Snoopy with a red shirt. I've also got Snoopy and Woodstock ornaments all over the tree.

Thank you for giving FraggleMonkey a good home! :)

Everybody needs a Mr. Incredible in their life.. so true!

I have a stuffed animal named Edgar. I've had him since I was in my sophmore year of high school. And named him after Edgar Allen Poe. My kids stole it from me though, so I guess technically he's not really "mine" anymore.

I love your punk shui friends, Matildakay!

I almost bought that monkey. I got a monster thingy that crunches notes... Jen Raven made it... woo!

She's sexy, and so are sock monkeys.

Hey, I won that Pokie Pooch. I was on a roll! Luckiest KC Fair day of my life.
