Small miracles...
This week has been a week of small miracles… At this point I’ll take small miracles.
I talked to my property management company and they are going to let me stay in my rental until my house closes escrow. They actually let me cancel my 30-day notice. I didn’t know they would do that. So I still have a place to live! I can’t tell you what a relief that is. One less thing I have to worry about.
I received an email from my realtor stating that the Bank that owned my house I’m buying had finally ordered the final approval letter for the sale of my house. I think my heart skipped a beat when I read that email. I have to wonder… will my dream of this house really come true?
I found out that the erotic short story I wrote for the upcoming book 39… and Still Holding, the sequel to 39 and Holding… Him was chosen as one of four stories to be featured on the back of the book! This was the coolest news I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait until this book comes out in print!
And finally, my lender informed me that I won’t owe more money when I sign the new set of loan documents. The loan documents I previously signed were now expired and still I’m waiting for my house to close. But at least I won’t have to come up with more money this week.
A little bit of good news goes a long way towards stretching patience that is worn thin.
